CAST for Kids is more than just a fishing event—it's an opportunity to create unforgettable memories for children with illnesses and special needs and their families.

For over 30 years, Our President, Troy Moncrief, has been dedicated to bringing this event to life, helping connect local volunteers, sponsors, and boat captains with kids who deserve a day filled with fun, laughter, and time on the water. What starts as a fishing trip quickly becomes so much more—building confidence, creating friendships, and giving families a day they can simply enjoy together.

Each year, we host a fishing event that pairs these incredible kids with volunteer boat captains for a memorable day on the lake. Later in the year, we host a fundraiser to help support the event, ensuring we can continue creating these special experiences and making a difference in the lives of local families.

Each year, we're reminded of the incredible impact this event has on everyone involved. The smiles, excitement, and memories made on the water are what make CAST for Kids so special, and we're proud to continue supporting a cause that means so much to our community.
